Iako studijska diploma ostaje važna, mnogi
poslodavci sada traže osobe koje su, uz završenu srednju školu, stekle dodatne
vještine i specifična znanja kroz zanat i radno iskustvo, a zatim nadopunile
svoje obrazovanje akademskim studijem.
Tako se nameće pitanje
- kako interpretirati ovaj trend i što bi stručni ljudi s diplomom trebali
učiniti kako bi ostali konkurentni na tržištu rada?
Jedan od odgovora mogao bi biti aktivno umrežavanje i angažman u organizacijama kao što je udruga Marshall Plan za Hrvatsku. Ova udruga, uz podršku dijaspore, pruža platforme koje već funkcioniraju i pomažu profesionalcima da unaprijede svoje vještine, povežu se s relevantnim poslodavcima i steknu iskustvo koje je traženo na tržištu rada. Aktivnosti ove udruge mogu značajno pomoći ljudima s akademskom diplomom da usmjere svoju karijeru u željenom pravcu, nadopune svoje znanje i povežu se s ključnim stručnjacima iz industrije.
U konačnici, važno je da se mladim stručnjacima s diplomama
omogući prostor za stjecanje dodatnih vještina i iskustava koji će ih učiniti
konkurentnijima na tržištu rada. Kroz aktivnosti udruge Marshall Plan i druge
slične inicijative, hrvatska dijaspora može odigrati ključnu ulogu u podršci
mladim ljudima u njihovom profesionalnom razvoju.

Recently, there has been more and more talk about this
in Germany, and now in Croatia!
In recent
times, employers seem to prefer candidates who haven't just completed
university, but have also gained practical experience during their education.
While a university degree is still important, many employers are now looking
for individuals who, alongside secondary school, have acquired additional
skills and specific knowledge through an apprenticeship or vocational training,
and only then completed their academic studies with work experience.
This raises the question: how should this trend
be interpreted, and what should qualified individuals with university degrees
do to remain competitive in the job market?
One potential solution could be active networking and involvement in organizations like the Marshall Plan for Croatia. This organization, supported by the Croatian diaspora, provides platforms that already function effectively to help professionals enhance their skills, connect with relevant employers, and gain the kind of experience that is highly sought after on the job market. The activities of this association can significantly assist degree-holders in directing their careers in the desired direction, supplementing their knowledge, and connecting with key industry experts.
Ultimately,
it is important to ensure that young professionals with degrees are given
opportunities to gain additional skills and experiences that will make them
more competitive in the workforce. Through the activities of the Marshall Plan
and similar initiatives, the Croatian diaspora can play a key role in
supporting young people in their professional development.
