Vrijeme je za naš „Marshallov plan“: Dijaspora kao ključ nove Hrvatske

Želja hrvatskog iseljeništva za povratkom stara je koliko i sama hrvatska država. Nakon Domovinskog rata, dok je još tinjao žar pobjede i slobode, sanjali smo o masovnom povratku. Nažalost, taj se san sudario s nedostatkom političke volje, izostankom stručnih strategija i nepostojanjem platformi koje bi iseljenicima omogućile siguran povratak i ulaganje.

Danas živimo u vremenima koja nas ponovno tjeraju na duboko promišljanje. Globalna neizvjesnost, ekonomske krize i ratni sukobi mijenjaju kartu svijeta. Amerika se pod vodstvom Donalda Trumpa sve više okreće sebi, dok Europa ostaje pred izazovima skupoće i nesigurnosti. U takvom svijetu, Hrvatska ne smije čekati – moramo pokrenuti vlastiti Marshallov plan za Hrvatsku uz dijasporu.

Pouka iz povijesti: Njemački model uspjeha

Mnogi će reći da je to nemoguće, ali povijest nas uči suprotno. Sjetimo se pada Berlinskog zida. Njemačka država tada je povukla vizionarski potez: pozvala je tisuće svojih umirovljenika i stručnjaka, volontera koji su uz minimalne naknade ili čisti patriotizam nesebično pomogli u obnovi i modernizaciji Istočne Njemačke. Ti su ljudi svoje bogato iskustvo ugradili u temelje nove, snažne države, prilagodivši Istok zapadnim standardima u rekordnom roku.

Ako je Njemačka mogla iskoristiti potencijal svojih iskusnih generacija za „gradnju Istoka“, zašto Hrvatska ne bi mogla učiniti isto sa svojom dijasporom? Naši ljudi u iseljeništvu su naša „zlatna rezerva“. Oni nisu samo broj, već ključni arhitekti koji mogu donijeti radnu etiku i standarde koje su desetljećima gradili u inozemstvu.

Naša vizija i konkretni koraci:

Udruga „Marshallov plan“ već gradi platforme koje će to omogućiti:

1. CRO GREEN: Proizvodnja sigurne, zdrave i domaće hrane kao temelj nacionalne sigurnosti.

2. Mreža znanja: Povezivanje centara izvrsnosti od Frankfurta do Zagreba – transfer znanja koji nam je prijeko potreban.

3. Hrvatska dijasporska banka: Model „dolar za dolar“, uz izgradnju suvremenih staračkih domova i vrtića, čime potičemo i gospodarstvo i demografiju.

Iako su mlađe generacije često zaokupljene brzim tempom života, mi se obraćamo onima koji vide širu sliku. Pozivamo obrazovane ljude, naše umirovljenike koji su cijeli život gradili tuđa društva, te svih 14.000 pratitelja koji nas podupiru.

Postanite promotori i ambasadori ove ideje. Vaše znanje i iskustvo su dragocjeni. Uz vašu podršku i nužan sluh države, možemo pretvoriti Hrvatsku u modernu, sigurnu i prosperitetnu domovinu.

Die Zeit ist gekommen für unseren „Marshallplan“: Die Diaspora als Schlüssel zu einem neuen Kroatien

Der Wunsch der kroatischen Auswanderer nach Rückkehr ist so alt wie der kroatische Staat selbst. Nach dem Heimatkrieg, als die Glut des Sieges und der Freiheit noch brannte, träumten wir von einer massenhaften Rückkehr. Leider scheiterte dieser Traum am Mangel an politischem Willen, an fehlenden fachlichen Strategien und am Fehlen von Plattformen, die den Auswanderern eine sichere Rückkehr und Investitionen ermöglicht hätten.

Heute leben wir in Zeiten, die uns erneut zu tiefem Nachdenken zwingen. Globale Unsicherheit, Wirtschaftskrisen und kriegerische Konflikte verändern die Weltkarte. Amerika richtet sich unter der Führung von Donald Trump immer stärker auf sich selbst aus, während Europa mit den Herausforderungen hoher Lebenshaltungskosten und Unsicherheit konfrontiert bleibt. In einer solchen Welt darf Kroatien nicht warten – wir müssen unseren eigenen Marshallplan für Kroatien gemeinsam mit der Diaspora starten.

Lehre aus der Geschichte: Das deutsche Erfolgsmodell

Viele werden sagen, dass dies unmöglich sei, doch die Geschichte lehrt uns das Gegenteil. Erinnern wir uns an den Fall der Berliner Mauer. Der deutsche Staat traf damals eine visionäre Entscheidung: Er rief Tausende seiner Rentner, Fachleute und Freiwilligen auf, die mit minimaler Vergütung oder aus reinem Patriotismus selbstlos beim Wiederaufbau und der Modernisierung Ostdeutschlands halfen. Diese Menschen brachten ihre reiche Erfahrung in die Fundamente eines neuen, starken Staates ein und passten den Osten in Rekordzeit an westliche Standards an.

Wenn Deutschland das Potenzial seiner erfahrenen Generationen für den „Aufbau des Ostens“ nutzen konnte, warum sollte Kroatien nicht dasselbe mit seiner Diaspora tun können? Unsere Menschen im Ausland sind unsere „Goldreserve“. Sie sind nicht nur eine Zahl, sondern entscheidende Architekten, die Arbeitsethik und Standards mitbringen können, die sie jahrzehntelang im Ausland aufgebaut haben.

Unsere Vision und konkrete Schritte

Der Verein „Marshallplan“ baut bereits Plattformen auf, die dies ermöglichen werden:

1. CRO GREEN: Produktion sicherer, gesunder und heimischer Lebensmittel als Grundlage nationaler Sicherheit.

2. Wissensnetzwerk: Verbindung von Kompetenzzentren von Frankfurt bis Zagreb – ein Wissenstransfer, den wir dringend benötigen.

3. Kroatische Diaspora-Bank: Ein Modell „Dollar für Dollar“, verbunden mit dem Aufbau moderner Altenheime und Kindergärten, wodurch sowohl die Wirtschaft als auch die Demografie gestärkt werden.

Auch wenn jüngere Generationen oft vom schnellen Lebenstempo eingenommen sind, wenden wir uns an jene, die das größere Bild sehen. Wir rufen gebildete Menschen auf, unsere Rentner, die ihr ganzes Leben am Aufbau fremder Gesellschaften gearbeitet haben, sowie alle 14.000 Unterstützer, die hinter uns stehen.

It Is Time for Our “Marshall Plan”: The Diaspora as the Key to a New Croatia

The desire of the Croatian diaspora to return is as old as the Croatian state itself. After the Homeland War, while the spirit of victory and freedom was still alive, we dreamed of a massive return. Unfortunately, that dream collided with a lack of political will, the absence of professional strategies, and the lack of platforms that would enable emigrants to return safely and invest in their homeland.

Today, we live in times that once again force us into deep reflection. Global uncertainty, economic crises, and armed conflicts are reshaping the world map. Under Donald Trump’s leadership, America is increasingly turning inward, while Europe continues to face the challenges of rising living costs and insecurity. In such a world, Croatia must not wait — we need to launch our own Marshall Plan for Croatia together with the diaspora.

A lesson from history: The German model of success

Many will say this is impossible, but history teaches us otherwise. Let us remember the fall of the Berlin Wall. At that time, the German state made a visionary move: it called upon thousands of retirees, experts, and volunteers who, for minimal compensation or out of pure patriotism, selflessly helped rebuild and modernize East Germany. These people embedded their vast experience into the foundations of a new and powerful state, adapting the East to Western standards in record time.

If Germany could use the potential of its experienced generations for the “construction of the East,” why couldn’t Croatia do the same with its diaspora? Our people abroad are our “gold reserve.” They are not merely numbers, but key architects capable of bringing the work ethic and standards they have spent decades building abroad.

Our vision and concrete steps

The association “Marshall Plan” is already building platforms that will make this possible:

1. CRO GREEN: The production of safe, healthy, and domestic food as the foundation of national security.

2. Knowledge Network: Connecting centers of excellence from Frankfurt to Zagreb — a transfer of knowledge that we urgently need.

3. Croatian Diaspora Bank: A “dollar for dollar” model, combined with the construction of modern nursing homes and kindergartens, thereby stimulating both the economy and demographic renewal.

Although younger generations are often preoccupied with the fast pace of life, we are addressing those who see the bigger picture. We call upon educated individuals, our retirees who spent their entire lives building other societies, as well as all 14,000 supporters who stand behind us.

Become promoters and ambassadors of this idea. Your knowledge and experience are invaluable. With your support and the necessary understanding from the state, we can transform Croatia into a modern, safe, and prosperous homeland.
