Zahvalnica od SDP-a 2002. godine i udruga Marshall plan za Hrvatsku 2025.

Danas,
2025., s istim osjećajem ljubavi, zadovoljstva i zahvalnosti primio sam novu usmeu zahvalnicu – ovoga puta od udruge
Marshall plan za Hrvatsku uz dijasporu, u kojoj sam duže vrijeme aktivan. To
priznanje shvaćam i kao poticajnu mjeru: znak da je briga za dijasporu i dalje
važna tema koja traži konkretne korake.
Postavlja se, međutim, pitanje: kada će i HDZ-ova vlada konačno
provesti obćani „Tjedan iseljenika“
i Hrvatskoj poslati jasnu pozivnicu svojoj dijaspori – poruku „trebamo vas i željno vas čekamo“?
Nitko
izravno ne traži zahvalnicu za svoj rad, ali svakome je drago kad netko
prepozna njegov trud i pohvali ga.
U samoj zahvalnici stoji:
„Hvala vam u
nizu dopisa i konstruktivnih prijedloga u vezi napuklih veza dijaspore i
domovine koje iznosite, a koje će se uvesti i u program. Zahvalni smo vam na
podršci, na ostvarenju koje iskazujete, kao i na trudu koji ulažete u smislu
zajedničkog cilja – jedinstva domovine i iseljeništva, na dobrobit sveopćeg
boljitka i napretka.“

Certificate
of Appreciation – From the SDP Government in 2002 to the Marshall Plan for
Croatia Association in 2025
In 2002, I received a certificate of appreciation from
the then SDP government – a recognition that meant a great deal to me. It was
not just a piece of paper, but proof that the effort and work with the Croatian
diaspora were acknowledged.
Today, in 2025, with the same sense of love,
gratitude, and fulfillment, I have received another certificate of appreciation
– this time from the Marshall Plan for Croatia with the Diaspora Association,
in which I have been active for a long time. I see this recognition also as an
incentive: a sign that caring for the diaspora remains an important topic that
requires concrete steps.
However, the question arises: when will the HDZ
government finally establish the “Week of Emigrants” and send a clear
invitation to Croatia’s diaspora – a message that says, “we need you, and we
are eagerly waiting for you”?
No one directly asks for recognition of their work,
but it is always rewarding when one’s efforts are acknowledged and appreciated.
The certificate itself states:
“Thank you for your numerous letters and constructive
proposals regarding the broken ties between the diaspora and the homeland,
which you have put forward, and which will be included in the program. We are
grateful for your support, for the commitment you show, and for the effort you
invest in the pursuit of our common goal – the unity of the homeland and the
diaspora, for the benefit of the common good and progress.”
